Your retirement is approaching and you know that the company and colleague will hold a little party for you where you will be recognized for your long career with the company and where you will also be required to give a retirement speech. Here are some tips and suggestion of how to make your retirement speech enjoyable and memorable at the same time. Long speeches are boring and you don't want to be the one delivering one so ensure your speech is short and to the point. Many people will have professional retirement speeches drawn up but the ones that will be enjoyed and remember most are those that you speak from the heart adding a joke and a little remark as you go on. It is important to keep the speech short but it is also important to mention all those that were dear to you along the journey you had in the company, those you offered support and those who offered to teach and believed in your ability. Last but not least don't forget to mention you family without which your daily existence would probably not be the same.
